A Carbon Credit Offset is a mechanism that allows individuals or organizations to compensate for their greenhouse gas emissions by investing in projects that reduce or remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. It essentially helps to balance out the environmental impact of activities by supporting initiatives that promote sustainability and reduce carbon emissions.

When you purchase a Carbon Credit Offset, the funds are invested in projects that are designed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. These projects can include activities such as renewable energy generation, forest conservation, or methane capture. The reduction in emissions achieved through these projects is then measured and verified, and the corresponding carbon credits are generated. These credits represent a quantifiable reduction in greenhouse gas emissions and can be used to offset the carbon footprint of an individual, a company, or a specific activity.

Purchasing a Carbon Credit Offset allows you to take responsibility for your carbon footprint and support projects that contribute to the fight against climate change. It provides an opportunity to offset the emissions associated with your activities by investing in sustainable initiatives that have a positive impact on the environment. By purchasing a Carbon Credit Offset, you can demonstrate your commitment to sustainability and contribute to a greener future.

Carbon Credit Offsets help the environment by supporting projects that reduce greenhouse gas emissions. These projects can include renewable energy projects that replace fossil fuel-based energy sources, reforestation projects that sequester carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, or energy efficiency initiatives that reduce energy consumption. By investing in these projects, Carbon Credit Offsets help mitigate the environmental impact of human activities and contribute to the overall reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.

Yes, Carbon Credit Offsets are regulated and verified to ensure their integrity and credibility. Various standards and certification bodies exist to assess and verify the projects that generate carbon credits. These bodies review project documentation, measure emissions reductions, and conduct on-site audits to ensure that the projects meet specific criteria and adhere to rigorous standards. This verification process provides transparency and confidence that the purchased offsets are legitimate and have a real impact on reducing carbon emissions.

Depending on the platform or provider, you may have the option to choose the specific projects you would like to support with your Carbon Credit Offset. Some platforms offer a selection of verified projects from different sectors, allowing you to align your offsetting efforts with causes that resonate with you. However, it's important to note that not all providers offer project selection, and in such cases, your offset funds are typically allocated to a portfolio of verified projects.

The calculation of carbon emissions associated with your purchase for offsetting depends on various factors, such as the type of product or service, the energy consumption during manufacturing or transportation, and the packaging materials used. Ecommerce platforms and organizations often collaborate with environmental experts or use established methodologies to estimate these emissions based on industry-specific data and standards.

Yes, some platforms or providers offer the option to offset carbon emissions from previous activities or purchases. This is often referred to as "retroactive offsetting." By calculating the emissions associated with past activities, you can offset them by purchasing the corresponding carbon credits. Retroactive offsetting allows you to take responsibility for emissions that have already occurred and supports the same types of projects as regular offsets.

Not sure yet? That is fine.

You can change your mind. You have 15 days from purchase to return an unused item in its original packaging for an exchange or a refund. A non-refundable $29 handling fee applies per order, and you cover the cost of shipping it back.

How much is the voluntary Carbon Credit Offset Offer?

CAD 7.

Are your prices in Canadian dollars?

Yes, every price on this site is in Canadian dollars and that is the currency you are charged in at checkout.

How much is delivery?

Delivery is free on orders of $75 or more. Below that it is $25. Express Shipping is a paid upgrade at $25 on any order, including one over the free threshold.

How long will it take to arrive?

Canada wide delivery takes 5 to 7 days, after a 24 to 48 hour handling time.

Where do you deliver to?

Across Canada, including Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Ottawa, Winnipeg, Quebec City, Hamilton, Halifax, Kitchener, London, Victoria, Saskatoon and Regina. If you are outside Canada, ask us before ordering and we will tell you whether we can get it to you and what it costs.

Will I get a tracking number?

Yes. A tracking number is emailed as soon as your order leaves the warehouse.

Can my order arrive in more than one parcel?

It can. Items in one order are sometimes packed and sent separately, so a partial delivery is not a missing order.

Can I change my mind after ordering?

Yes, within 15 days of your purchase. A change-of-mind return (better price found, changed mind, does not fit, no longer needed, ordered the wrong item) carries a non-refundable $29 per order packing and handling charge, and the return postage is yours. The item has to be unused and in its original packaging. Provincial consumer legislation may give you further rights where you live, and it is not affected by this policy.

What if it arrives damaged or faulty?

Tell us and we sort it. A faulty, damaged or wrong item is our cost to put right, including the return postage, and the $29 change-of-mind handling charge does not apply to it.

How do I cancel before it ships?

Contact us within 12 hours of ordering, because most orders are picked within 24 hours. If it has not been dispatched we cancel it and refund you, less the 12.5% service and processing fee the cancellation policy sets out.

What payment methods do you take?

Card through Stripe, and PayPal. Those are the only two.

Do I get a receipt?

Yes, an order confirmation is emailed to you as soon as the payment goes through, and it is your proof of purchase for any return.

Do you have a shop I can visit?

No. We are an online clearance warehouse, which is why the prices are what they are.

Are these products new?

Yes. Everything here is new stock. Clearance means the price is cut, not that the goods are used.

Can I buy several of these at trade prices?

Yes, ask us. There is a wholesale page on this site and we quote per order rather than publishing a trade list.

What else do you sell in uncategorized?

This product is filed under uncategorized on this site, and the category page lists everything else we stock in it.

Is there a warranty?

We do not publish a manufacturer warranty period for this item, so we will not claim one. Your rights against a product that is faulty or not as described come from the sale-of-goods and consumer protection legislation of your own province, and nothing on this page limits them.

Can you send me the manufacturer's full specification?

Ask us. Where the supplier publishes more detail than we list here we will pass it on, and where they do not we will tell you that rather than guess.

Is the voluntary Carbon Credit Offset Offer in stock now?

Yes. Everything listed on this site is stock we hold; a line that has sold out comes off the site rather than staying up as a page you cannot buy from.

Will you restock it if it sells out?

Not always, and we would rather say so. A clearance line is a finite quantity bought at a clearance price, so when it is gone the same item at the same price often cannot be repeated.

Why is the voluntary Carbon Credit Offset Offer cheaper here than elsewhere?

Because of how the stock was bought and because there is no shop front behind it. It is surplus, closeout or liquidation stock, sold new, out of a warehouse rather than a high street.

It's important to combine offsetting with ongoing efforts to minimize carbon footprints and transition to a low-carbon economy.

How can I be sure that my Carbon Credit Offset has a real impact?

To ensure that your Carbon Credit Offset has a real impact, it's crucial to choose a reputable provider or platform that follows recognized standards and certifications. Additionally, you can research the credibility of the certification bodies associated with the provider to further validate their legitimacy.
